The 140th SMPTE Technical Conference and Exhibit will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center, Pasadena, Calif., October 28-31, 1998. Alan Hart (Modern VideoFilm) and Alan Masson (Eastman Kodak) have been named Program Co-Chairs.

The 33rd SMPTE Advanced Motion Imaging Conference is scheduled for February 25-27, 1999 at the Omni Rosen Hotel in Orlando, FL. The conference has been themed "Innovation, Implementation, and Operation" and will consist of two days of program sessions headed by Clyde D. Smith, Speer Worldwide Digital Consulting. A seminar organized by Oliver Peters will conclude the event. A Call for papers has been announced and an authors submission form is available online. Additional conference information will be published as it becomes available.

 

The TV Montreux 1999 International Television Symposium will be held on June 10-15 in Montreux Switzerland. Conference details including a list of scheduled sessions are available online
