140th SMPTE Technical Conference and Exhibit will be held
at the Pasadena Convention Center, Pasadena, Calif., October 28-31, 1998.

named Program Co-Chairs.

| The 33rd SMPTE Advanced
Motion Imaging Conference is scheduled for February 25-27, 1999 at
the Omni Rosen Hotel in Orlando, FL. The conference has been themed "Innovation,
Implementation, and Operation" and will consist of two days of program
sessions headed by Clyde D. Smith, Speer Worldwide Digital Consulting.
A seminar organized by Oliver Peters will conclude the event. A
